Join us at Turtle Back Zoo for some wild summer fun!
Campers will be introduced to the extraordinary world of animals, nature, and science for our week long camps that run in June, July and August.Kids will enjoy age-appropriate themed camps that include games, teacher-led lessons, behind-the-scenes visits, up-close animal encounters, hands-on science, and fun crafts.
The goal of the Turtle Back Zoo summer camp is to foster an appreciation for wildlife and the natural world through fun and educational activities.

Zoo Tales (4-5 year olds/ Going into Kindergarten): Learn about animals through stories and art activities. ˝ day for 5 days (9am to 12pm) Snack included
Sense-Able Animals (Going into 1st grade):Have you ever wondered how animals feel without fingers, smell with their tongue, see in the dark, or hear under water?This camp will explore how humans and animals make sense of things around them. All day camp 9 to 3
Superman-imals (Going into 2nd-3rd grade): Focuses on extraordinary animals and their “super” abilities. Find out how super animals compare to super humans! All day camp 9 to 3
ZSI-Zoological Science Investigations (Going into 4th-5th grade): Campers use their investigation skills to learn about animals. Learn about fun animal related science like paw prints and finger prints to veterinary examinations and scat.All day camp 9 to 3
Zoo Crew (Going into 6th-8th grade): Work with animal keepers here at the zoo and get down and dirty with the animals.Campers will help clean exhibits, make diets, and make animal observations.This camp is perfect for any middle school student interested in an animal career.This camp is for those who are willing to work hard and gain experience with zoo animals.
