EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Programs for a specific group can be scheduled for the Education Center Classroom.  There is a fee for these programs and they have to be scheduled at least three weeks in advance.  Programs can be especially tailored for Boy and Girl Scout groups to help with badge requirements.  

Off site programming is also available.  These Outreach Programs are available to schools, scout groups, community recreation programs, libraries, senior citizen groups, and day care centers.  They are available in the morning and afternoon from November to March and in the afternoons on a limited basis from April to October.  The programs are entertaining and educational.  They generate enthusiasm for learning and foster positive attitudes toward wildlife.
